Rubicon Trail Residence – Interior Finishing & Detail Work
The Rubicon Trail project is currently in its advanced finishing phase, showcasing steady progress from structural groundwork to refined interior detailing. Major milestones include the full installation of cabinetry, fixtures, and shower walls, along with the completion of interior and exterior door placements.
Significant preparation work for tiling has been completed using self-leveling systems, while detailed trim work—both interior and exterior—has been carefully executed to enhance the overall structure. As the project moves forward, focus remains on finalizing trim installations, completing painted finishes, and addressing detailed sheetrock and texturing work to bring the home to its fully finished state.

Installation of Fixtures & Doors
All major cabinetry, shower walls, and fixtures have been successfully installed throughout the home. This phase also included the complete installation of interior and exterior doors, including multiple pocket doors, ensuring both functionality and space efficiency across key areas.
Tiling Preparation & Substrate Work
Extensive preparation for tiled areas was completed using self-leveling mud and metal screen applications. These foundational steps ensured a smooth, durable surface, setting the stage for precise and long-lasting tile installations.
Trim Work & Interior Detailing
Detailed trim work was carried out across both interior and exterior elements, including precise cutting, fitting, and chinking around log structures and wall seams. Baseboards and trim components were carefully prepared through sanding and initial finishing processes.
Final Finishing in Progress
The project is currently focused on final finishing stages, including the installation of baseboards and trim, ongoing painting of primed drywall, and completing sheetrock and texturing work in targeted areas such as the master bedroom closet and garage.
